QFC
Qatar Financial Centre.

Our favourite. The QFC’s aim is to promote Qatar as an attractive business destination “at the crossroads between East and West”. However, when we went to see them, it became apparent that they were struggling to translate their values into visuals. Full transparency, we too were struggling to find a way to link the culture and business goals from a visual perspective.

So, we took it upon ourselves to find one. Canvassing Doha until we stumbled upon some art hanging on a wall in Katara Cultural Village that really spoke to the region. We asked around until we tracked down the artist and met up with him the next day. We started to talk about how we could create a digital visual identity for the country, based on his work.

We created a distinct, modern and yet timeless look and feel that uses multi-exposure photographic techniques, all shot on camera within the same frame to capture the true essence of Qatar as a modern progressive country. Within the shots we captured, who they were, where they worked and what they were about, based upon a series of Doha based professionals.

Below is the artwork for the persona’s, a glimpse of the website that we created at the time and a video interviews with the local professionals profiled, all shot in the same unique style.
