While heading up the design department at MRM we won the opportunity to redesign Nestlé Professionals global website and rebrand their online identity.

Through collaboration between the head of Nestlé’s brand team in Switzerland and ourselves we developed a unique modular design system, so that the regional content editors could create any possible permutation of any page layout from a core set of component and asset types.

While leading the design of the global sites, we were then asked to pitch for the rebrand of the online identity (sorry shameless plug! But it’s true).

We took their current brand mark as our inspiration and gave it a little twist, well actually a swirl. We also made their imagery own-able and memorable. Each image was treated with a tilt and shift technique that pulled in the focal point of an image. Then for key hero visuals we added a swirl moment to the focal area.

The outcome was a brand and digital online tool kit for the regional markets. So regional product owners can create their own website structure and page layouts to best suit their audience while still keeping things consistently Nestlé.
